Grusing Family Reunion t-shirts
These were designed for the 2018 Grusing family reunion held for the John and Anna Grusing descendants.
The back is decorated with a four color screen print of the Grussing family coat of arms with the original German spelling. The helmet and castle were scanned directly from the hand drawings on the oldest family tree we have access to. I digitally recreated the filigree and shield to bring back the detail that has been lost from the illustrations we currently have. I did my best to preserve the intended design.
The front is a circle graphics with “John and Anna” across the top and their modified spelling of GRUSING through the center. Around to bottom is “est. 1899” to celebrate the year of their marriage. To make the shirt commemorative I placed “2018” and “Family Reunion” inside the circle.
I am very proud of this graphics rendition and everything it represents.
